Effective date: 17 January 2026 — These terms apply when you access SummaryWiseAI.com and use the SummaryWise AI custom GPT.

1) Acceptance of these terms

By subscribing to or using SummaryWise AI, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2) What the service provides

SummaryWise AI is a study tool delivered as a custom GPT inside ChatGPT. It generates summaries, revision notes, flashcards, practice questions, key concepts and vocabulary from material you provide. A separate ChatGPT account is required to access it.

3) Subscription, billing and cancellation

  • Access is sold on a monthly subscription at £3.99 per month, billed in advance.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • Prices may change with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

4) Your account and access link

Your activation link and account access are personal to you. Do not share, resell or publish them. We may suspend access where sharing, abuse or fraudulent payment activity is detected.

5) Acceptable use

  • Do not upload content you have no right to use or share.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful or deceptive purposes.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or automate abusive access.

6) Academic integrity

SummaryWise AI is a study aid. You are responsible for following your school, college or employer's rules on the use of AI tools in assessed work.

7) Accuracy and no professional advice

AI-generated outputs can contain errors or omissions. Always verify important facts against your original source material. Outputs are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

8) Intellectual property

You keep the rights to the material you provide. The SummaryWise AI name, branding, site content and prompt design remain our property. Outputs generated for you may be used for your own study and teaching purposes.

9) Availability

The service depends on third-party platforms, including ChatGPT. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and features may change over time.

10) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost grades, data or profits.

11) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. The effective date above will be updated when we do.
